Obama New Yorker Cover : The Politics of Fear
Barack Obama’s campaign is blasting a New Yorker magazine cover, calling it “tasteless and offensive.”
The cover depicts “President Obama” wearing a Muslim-style outfit known as turban, and his wife Michelle Obama carrying a machine gun, dressed in camouflage and combat boots with a big afro.
The New Yorker says the July 21 cover entitled, “The Politics of Fear” is intended to be satirical.
In a statement from The New Yorker says, “in ‘The Politics of Fear,’ artist Barry Blitt satirizes the use of scare tactics and misinformation in the Presidential election to derail Barack Obama’s campaign.”

It’s remarks like the one Scott is making that’ts the problem. The New Yorker despite the effect they were going for is only feeding into the lie that’s being spread about him and is family. How dumb do you have to be to still believe the rumors going around and being spread. I think it’s a shame and say’s a lot about certain segments of our country. Some people are just going to believe what they want no matter what.
